I’m an Account Executive in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods department at GfK. As such, I’m mainly involved in maintaining contact with clients, analysing data and presenting results. We provide clients with information about consumers’ purchasing behaviour and, by doing so, help manufacturers to take full advantage of this. Information about purchasing behaviour during campaigns and about introducing products successfully is particularly important and these are absorbing issues that are of interest to clients.

I started at GfK four years ago because, after getting a degree in Marketing, I thought it would be interesting to maintain contacts with customers and give them advice on how to reach consumers more effectively. At GfK you get every opportunity to take up this challenge with a variety of clients in a very pleasant atmosphere where we all have the same shared aims. Many young colleagues are energised by making the consumer the client’s main focus so that they can then work jointly on a good strategy for a successful product or brand.
